Mar. 9th, 2008 05:10 pmOh god. You know, I don't have very much in the way of childhood memory. I hated kids, even when I was one, and very little happened that I care to remember at all. But this morning, listening to an audio drama where the Doctor saves Venice from mermish invasion and alien curse, I remembered something long-forgotten.
Before Jonathan Creek. Before the inadvisable and strangely long-lived crush on Laurence Llewellyn-Bowen. Even, I think, before my parents relented and bought me those fateful Red Dwarf audiobooks. Before Bowie, before the Rocky Horror Picture Show, before Velvet Goldmine and Wilde and Holmes and and everything that makes me me..
Thanks to the incredible "cuttings archive" website that far too much googling found for me this afternoon:
Here, in all its scanned-from-the-radio-times glory, is the first thing that I ever cut out of a magazine and stuck up on my wall.
There are. No words. For how good I feel right now. Thank you, DocSoc! Thanks, especially, to
calliope85, without whom my weekend would have been distinctly lacking in who-love epiphanies.
