Jan. 28th, 2006 03:58 pmOK, so I probably don't actually have glandular fever.. but if I'm not better by Monday, they're giving me a blood test just in case.
Ashley has been a goddess and looked after me exceedingly well, Sian gave the most needed mercy-food-run in the world for which i am still grateful, and you've all generally been spiffing... but i have been in this godforsaken room since lunchtime on Wednesday and i'm starting to go mad.
Hilda's isn't so very far away from here. And sitting in the corner of their bar with wonderful people thinking about my favourite book series of all time (excluding His Dark Materials & Discworld) seems do-able to me, if i dose myself up with enough of those lovely caffienated painkillers...
who would like to form a team with me for the HPSoc pub quiz? or perhaps there is already a team of 3 or 4 that wouldn't mind giving a space up to a poor invalid?
