i had a fabulous, fabulous wadstock [in-college music festival]. the sun was shining, there was pimms & lemonade, someone decided it was a good idea to have fireworks where they were easily visible from wadham back quad. i kind of wish i'd gone & broken into parks with the oules at 2am, but hey, i'm a sleep-whore. i had an absolutely blissful sunday, which i know i wouldn't have had if i'd stayed up until 5am to watch people throwing themselves off bridges. i spent the whole afternoon in a park with crosswords and magnetic chess and books on descartes just feeling like the quintessential oxford student. pascal took a pic of me & kate in the sun, underneath the blossom-dropping tree outside my staircase. once and for all - scepticism is a Really Crap Topic in philosophy. thank you. that is all. even marilyn manson can't make me finish this essay, and he normally elevates me out of grumpy moods just fine.
