greetings flistians,

my ickle actually quite grown up now sister is staying with me for a few days. i feel guilty enough as it is about the amount of work i am having to do around her, and when she expressed a desire to "meet random cool people" there was only one place to go to find them.

is anyone free this evening? is there anything going on we can gatecrash? if no-one gets back to us, we'll be wandering around looking forlorn from about 7 or 8. G&Ds and pub invitations both appreciated. housemate is having an essay-crisis from hell, or i'd be throwing a DVD night here.

I'm not doing anything you can gatecrash, but am willing to spend time in a pub or G&Ds with you and your (I've no doubt) lovely sister (until 9pm at least when I have to go to a pathology tute, grr).

I'm free, and up for whatever, though I'm not actually cool, and I'm not sure how random I am... Oh, and I'm not staying out too late, as I presently have had about 15 hours sleep over the last 3 days.

Actually, I suppose there could be Jonathan Creek, or obscure comedy, or any DVDs you wish to bring, but I have a laptop and a free room. It may be a bit dull, but worth keeping in mind as a reserve
