Thanks to everyone who voted in my corset poll a while back - in the end I got a cheque the retail value of the original corset, which as I'm sure you'll all remember was appropriated by the drag queen "Blanche Cartier".

With this cheque I bought a lovely 28" black satin vollers underbust, and a beaded lacy shirt of the victorian variety.

This is the corset and the shirt; I am dressed as a victorian pirate wench to go to a goth night in town. It is self-consciously silly, so feel no guilt about the laughter rising up in your throat.

This is the shape that the corset makes me:

Taken at Laurie's birthday / the housewarming for the pansexual house of love.

Here is me molesting Tim with baby oil at the same party (well, he was going as Kurt Wilde...):

In conclusion, Emma <3 Corsetry for ever and ever. Amen.

Jesusgod, but your breasts.

Also, what happened after J and I left?

no orgies, sadly, but Moulin Rouge as a film is a bit like an orgy for the eyes and ears. I went when it finished because sleep is, despite all my actions which might suggest the contrary, actually a Good Thing.

Ah. Well, it was lots of fun! Thank Miss Laurie for the nourishment beforehand.

Good... God... djidfkjsfhkhsf

I'm going to have nightmares about those breasts coming to eat me.

Also, remind me NEVER to attend any birthday party organised by you.

Emma, I laughed, but in a very 'Oh My God you look so Good!' way!

That outfit is amazing... wish I had your taste / confidence / ability to spend money on looking good, not buying random electronic devices (No! Not that way...dirty mind!) - although I do love my DAB :)

I feel like I am a closet techie...

Neil.

it is simple.

emma's figure without steel-reinforced assistance:

words that come to mind include "pudding" and "dumpling".

and with the intervention of historical underwear?

all of a sudden, magical goddess of sex. a simple yet compelling transformation, i find.

Yes, but... surely it must be very uncomfortable?

not as much as you'd think; the constriction is actually quite a nice feeling. comforting; supporting. it's only uncomfortable because trying to dance without the ability to move one's torso tends to lead to inadvertant neck damage (i don't do "smells like teen spirit" in a corset any more. the last time i did that i spent the rest of the evening feeling like i needed a neck brace). in general, i find that corsets feel good and look great. the worst thing about them is the price!

no, i'd never say you were a closet techie; you're more like the techie equivalent of a rainbow beach towel ;)

didja punk science it in the end?

You are gorgeous.

I really MUST get a corset for Christmas. I need a waist. And clevage. And black shininess and/or laciness of joy.

thank you! *blushes*

if you wanted to allow me to live vicariously through your corsettedness, you might want to consider this (http://www.fairygothmother.com/v1904u.htm) beautiful shape; i wanted it very much. i also happen to think that it would look so lovely (http://www.fairygothmother.com/newimages/v1904u22.jpg) on you.
