The Glitterati last night were quite sensationally excellent. Derivative, yes. Mindless, yes. But punk-powerful and placebo-homoerotic? Yes, and yes.

Of course, coming back to two parties in two nights was always going to be the best way to dispell holiday gloom, and between pass-the-parcel with devilish forfeits (swap clothes with the person to your left / drink shots from the navels of three members of the opposite sex / dance topless on the Cowley Road Roundabout), dancing like a mad thing in my new velvet dress, and meeting some beautiful science geeks, I was made very happy indeed.

ooh, that is a good idea. will motivate me as well. i am quite the slacker sometimes.

tomorrow is good - i have to entertain my college children at lunchtime, so the afternoon would be best.
