tomorrow morning i'm off to bunbury in banbury again; one of kate's friends is having a party. on saturday it's going to be our 6-month anniversary. i still can't quite believe that i'm involved in a functional relatiosnhip. in the past, my definition of 'love' went something like this: 'pining after people who are, if female, heterosexual, and, if male, homosexual'. and now i've spent half a year involved with someone i still maintain is entirely out of my league, in terms of wit, style, general hotness... and i can't say that i don't adore this state of affairs! i won't tell her she could do better if you won't, flist.

i'm doing two sketches in burlesk so far next term: 'boy scouts' and 'blow job'. i don't know anything about them yet, except what i have to wear: scout-uniform for one, disturbing prostitute-esque attire for the other. i'm going to be a distrubing, whorishly clad cabaret artist! i can't imagine anything more divine.

i think someone already commented on this, but i feel it is necessary for me to do so: a quotation from tonight's desperate housewives:

'I might be gay, but I'm not a jerk!'

just because those two clauses needed to be conjoined in a sentence like that. garr.
