it may not have escaped the perception of some of the more.. um.. perceptive of you that i rather like Oscar Wilde.

it is rather validating, then, to find out that i received 100% in the a-level module which concerned Him.

it was only on the importance of being earnest, but it is still a little recognition of my obsession.

this fact almost means more to me than my 4 As.

but not quite, of course, because the 4 As mean that I am going to Oxford!

well, it was just half a module... 'poetry and drama, pre-1900'. we studied the importance of being earnest and chaucer's pardoner's tale.

also, the picture of dorian grey came up as the unseen passage on the 'gothic literature' topic on the synoptic paper... unfortunately i'd been studying the 'victorian literature' topic :(
