sebastienneoh it's such a perfect day
today i went shopping with my mum. mostly i bought the entire contents of h&m, a couple of fun black vests but no shoes, but we have finally drawn a conclusion as to what is going to happen with my hair. it's going to be short at the back, so i can spike it all up, and longer & sleeker at the front. i am then going to dye it all deep purple. this is the hair i've always wanted! i can't wait :)
i'm glad i spent it with you
yesterday i introducing AG to camden market. i think she really liked it, well, she bought as much as i did and kept going on about how cool everything was. it's funny to go shopping surrounded by things i just think of as 'retro', and to be with someone who actually remembers them the first time around. i got some earrings so beautiful and cheap that i may never have to go near a clare's accesories again. also, whilst looking for evelyn waugh in a 2nd hand bookshop, i realised his alphabetical closeness to sarah waters...
then we saw king arthur - not as terrible as i expected, a fantastic action sequence on ice, and with the general hottness of ioan gryffud and keira knightley, it is hard for the observer not to be a crappy lesbian/heterosexual.

carafa and i went to see lou reed. although he did a lot more of his recent stuff that i did not know, he did also play satelite of love, walk on the wild side and perfect day. he also played the old velvet underground track, venus in furs. that was without a doubt my favourite of the evening - it had a cello solo that was one of the most amazing things i have ever seen. it had more passion in it than any live music i have ever experienced. i don't know whether she was using the cello as a perfect extension of herself, or whether she was having sex with it. but the music she produced was orgasmic, cataclysmic, it was rapture and pain and ecstacy and nothingness.

i just have to keep my mind occupied. there is no point in thinking, even for a second, about the results i will be receiving on thursday. the exams were taken months ago, the marking was finished weeks ago. nothing i can do can change what will come. worrying and re-running exam questions round and round my head will solve nothing.

brideshead, for one. jude law. stephen fry. could fit so perfectly, or maybe jude and colin firth. no doubt they will screw up when translating to big screen, but at leat they got jude law. so far. with the hot/prettiness.

also, anybody who's anybody knows that the only way to fight hangovers is to drink pints of water and eat a cheese toastie. possibly they are the vegetarian equivalent of the kebab.
