sebastienneon monday night, it was our leavers' ball/prom. it was a gorgeous evening, even if it drove home to me just how few of the 6th form i actually know!

You should have seen the look on Mrs Goodman's face when she walked in dressed like that, with a girl on each arm!
I would encourage you to ignore my facial expression in this one.

after 13 solid hours sleep on saturday night, i thought it would be really intelligent to have 14 hours solid music-making on tuesday. we got in by 8.30 for our last ever chapel choir service (*tear*), had rehearsals most of the day, and two concerts 5-6.15 and 7.30-10.30. today was my last ever day at forest. it's funny, the things that actually made me sad. i found that hymn, 'god be with you til we meet again', even more dire and maudlin than usual. i actually couldn't bring myself to sing it, i felt it was such forced and fake sentiment. even the finality of it all, which i thought would be so sure to make me feel a little bit sad, just made me happy that i was off to uni!
no, the only thing that made me feel even mildly sad was this:
