sebastiennei fell asleep today. whilst reading info on le pacs for my french oral next tuesday, i slumped forward and slept for almost an hour. i guess nobody goes upstairs in the library any more, cuz nobody came to wake me. it doesn't bode well for next week, is all i'm saying. do i really find my topic that boring? of course i don't, it's about gay rights, something i am immensely passionate about.
i have so much work to do tonight. i was meant to work so hard this afternoon...
isn't it funny, how we say 'i'm just passing time' and 'i'm just killing time' ? it's so arrogant, so stupid of us, because, of course, what is really happening is that time is passing us by; time is killing us.
surely, what we should say when procrastinating (just as i am doing now) is 'i'm just letting my time pass me by' or 'i'm sitting back and letting time kill me'.
i'm really not in that bad a mood, but this entry is rather depressing, isn't it? ok, just to lighten the tone, here's a poem that appeared in punch magazine in the late 19th century - proof that oscar wilde was the bowie/molko of the victorian era, anyone?
