i bought brian eno's album, here come the warm jets at the weekend. it is possibly one of the weirdest things i have ever bought; but it does involve 'dead finks don't talk' from velvet goldmine, which is in the movie but not on the soundtrack album (it's the one that goes 'oh cheeky cheeky. oh naughty sneeky. you're so perceptive, and i wonder how you knew.'), and the original of 'baby's on fire'.

also, i have somehow managed to arrange a classics trip to see the movie troy when it comes out here. can anybody else say 'easily persuaded teachers'?

Mmm, I love the whole seventeen/thirty one thing. Darling Robbie was a foxy little minx, I think he must have literally charmed the pants of Oscar - considering the fact that it was definitely Robbie who did all the seducing. Merow.
