well whaddaya know? i met someone in real life who i had met over the internet, who proved to be no axe-murderer, paedophile or weirdo. (although the jury's still out on that last one :p) (and the second one, now you come to mention it... i wonder how old emma watson was when she made the first harry potter movie?)

she made me realise exactly why it is i could live nowhere else but london. i know that wankers steal your purse on the night bus and i know that the borough of camden has the highest rape and murder rates in the country. hell, london might be the only city i know that is as unstable and eclectic as i am! it might take an hour on the tube to get anywhere remotely interesting, it might be smoggy and dirty and full of townies, but i really love london.

i really ought to do some work. but, see that happening. i finished my actual homework... it's just that whole 'revision' thing that's not happening.

no, it was more your sense of awe at the size of the virgin megastore and the way you saw camden exactly how i saw it when i first saw it. (if that makes sense?) reminded me how lucky i am to live somewhere that has things like that.

always love your icons. and how you feel about london is kind of how i feel about california. sure, there are high crime rates, especially in southern california where i grew up. sure, everything costs more there than practically anywhere in the country. sure, there are nutjobs crawling out of the woodwork. but would i live there again if i had the chance? you betcha.
