it is surprisingly hard to concentrate on homework when the complete letters of oscar wilde are sitting on the desk behind you. the heaviest and most expensive book you own. the most beautiful and important thing you have ever held (with a few, human exceptions). somehow procrastinating by posting this right now is seen as some happy medium. but i must not allow myself to touch that book until i finish this essay!
