My only complaint is that we could have seen a little more of the monsters being monstrous, either the serpent in the Thames looking hungry or Sutcliffe being cruel. Other than that it was fine - and unlike one historian fan on Twitter, I have no problems with its representation of the period beyond hoping that the Doctor has picked some suitably open-minded guardians to protect Perry's inheritance. Urchins and 'mixed race' kin of half- or unrecognised unions did inherit substantial property in this period, but I can't think of one recognised in the way 'Peregrine Sutcliffe' was!
