I can understand what you're saying about there being two distinct selves - a poignant comment a Dutch friend of mine once said with reference to my astronomy summer camps was "Its like I'm asleep for all the year, and then I wake up for these three weeks." I think he was drunk at the time :).

I used to feel like that too until I decided to try and remain awake as much as possible and started hanging out with crazy Oxford people as much as possible. But its hard. Especially so when everyone isn't on your doorstep any more and there are no OULES rehearsals and crazy parties every three days to see people and make plans.

Still - craziness instead of laziness is definately the way to go!

BTW - if you have broadband at home then Yahoo Music is the way to go for music videos - its like having your own customisable music television channel. You get to rate video and it'll play things based on how much you like them, but more importantly you have the amazing 'NEVER PLAY AGAIN!" option. Hence no R&B! Yay! ;)
